StenoTech Career Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award certificates and diplomas.  ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

ASSOCIATIONS

StenoTech Career Institute is recognized by the New Jersey State Board of Court Reporting as an approved training site for continuing education seminars.

Both the Fairfield and Piscataway campuses serve as test sites for semiannual licensing examinations given by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), including the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) examination that is required for reporter certification in the State of New Jersey.

Both the main and branch campuses of StenoTech are NCRA-Participating Schools, demonstrating the institution’s commitment in providing realtime reporter education by being able to access all NCRA resources. 

StenoTech has maintained an institutional membership with the Private Career School Association of New Jersey since 1990.  The school has also maintained an institutional membership with the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT) since 1993.
