The National Court Reporters Association is an integral aspect of the reporting community.  Their website, www.ncraonline.org, is a virtual cornucopia of information for every aspect of the court reporting field.  From job listings to certification requirements, the NCRA is by and large the backbone of the industry and we are proud to be listed with them as a Participating Program.

The NCRA supports the Communications Access Info Center (http://www.cartinfo.org), a website dealing specifically with CART providing services.  The primary purpose of the Communication Access Information Center is to provide information of use to people employing or in need of Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART), also known as realtime captioning. The site is sponsored by the National Court Reporters Foundation and supported by the National Court Reporters Association's CART Task Force.

The Certified Court Reporters Association of New Jersey (CCRA-NJ) is a not-for-profit professional organization of individual members involved in or affiliated with court reporting in the State of New Jersey.  Its purpose is to provide leadership in advancing the interests and general welfare of the profession, to promote unity and cooperation, to advocate for high standards of professional practice, and provide opportunities for continuing education.  Visit them at www.ccra-nj.com.

The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, or ACICS, is a non-profit education corporation, is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education as an independent and autonomous national accrediting body that accredits institutions of higher education offering programs of study through the master's degree level.  Both campuses of StenoTech Career Institute are accredited by ACICS through December 2011.
