Webcasting Career

As with most of the modern world, court reporters have found a niche on the Internet. In an Internet captioning career, also known as Webcasting or cyberconferencing, the reporter provides realtime services for various aspects of business such as conventions, boardroom meetings, product rollouts, and press conferences. The reporter transcribes what each participant is saying and the text is shared, via the Internet, with other participants who may be across the globe. For many companies the minutes of a meeting must be preserved, and there is no more reliable source of record-keeping than a trained reporter.
